Main House
Whether you rise with the lark or stay in your nest a while longer, breakfast in the Main House will set you on course for the day, whatever it holds in store. Featuring our own fresh eggs, bacon and sausages, homemade jams and juices made with fruit and herbs from the garden, our breakfasts are a culmination of some of our favourite things, cooked to order for our Main House guests between 7am-9am. Dinner for guests is a similarly homegrown affair, with seasonal vegetables, locally sourced meat and seafood, all served in the comfort of the Main House dining room.
Main Barn
With views over the vineyard to the sea, the Main Barn is the beating heart of the Retreat. Here we gather; the rhythm of the seasons guiding our days and all we do. Throughout your stay, you are encouraged to gather here to eat, drink and relax. Serving delicious lunches and food freshly prepared from the wood-fired oven, vibrant salads from the garden as well as a wonderful array of homemade cakes and goodies and our own delicious Louma coffee. Set off from here for forages, farm tours, garden walks, and trips to the vineyard – a meeting place at the beginning of each experience.
Hampers
Complete with homemade delicacies, farm-grown ingredients and specially selected products, our carefully curated hampers provide you with everything you could need to treat yourself during your stay. Enjoy pre-prepared meals, picnic hampers, produce baskets, wine hampers and so much more that you can order following your booking.

Braai / BBQ
Cooking over fire is an elemental pleasure; our Braai area allows for a communal dining experience in the open air. Neighbouring the Ornamental Garden and using ingredients from the garden, fields and pastures, you can enjoy a private lunch or dinner, as well as play host to BBQ nights and events, with supper served family-style on our picnic tables. You are welcome to get as hands-on in the preparation as you’d like, or allow our chefs to cook for you, either way, you’ll enjoy a barbecue experience like no other.
Bespoke
Let Louma be the inspiration for a morning, afternoon or full day spent cooking or tasting whatever you desire. Featuring fruit, vegetables, herbs and foraged specialties from the farm, you can shape the experience to suit you – learn to cook a complete menu, just a few favourite treats or mindful recipes to improve your wellness- we’ll guide you to prepare delicious dishes to enjoy time and time again.
