‘Sugar kelp, also known as ‘seabelt,’ is a common kelp seaweed found in shallow seas around our coasts.’
Referencing our proximity to the beach and the rusty reds of the Barn’s interior, Sugarkelp’s ground floor opens onto a private terrace and hot tub, with views across the vineyards and down to the sea.
With families in mind, there are two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed, the other with a single. The bathroom has a bath and an overhead shower. For extra flexibility, there’s also a sofa bed downstairs in the living room.
Our Louma Hampers will provide you with all the food you’ll need for breakfast and supper in the fully-equipped kitchen, and you’re welcome to join us in the Main Barn for lunch.
‘Rootstock is named as a nod to our vineyard, where our carefully selected grapevine rootstocks help the wine grapes thrive in difficult growing conditions.’
The rich brown tones of this room reflect our good earth and rootstock, which makes it fitting that the room has views across the vineyards and down to the sea. With accommodation on two floors, there’s also a private terrace and a hot tub.
