Bee Safari

Don your bee suit and join a member of our farm team as we tour our Apiary; the Louma beehive collection, and other hives around the site, peeping in when possible to observe and inspect. These fascinating creatures bring us insight into their significant and extraordinary lives, teaching us much about our surrounding landscape and the necessary work they do to support it. Our bee team takes a natural bee-keeping approach, which prioritises the health of the hive over the production of honey, intervening only to encourage hives to thrive and so increasing the chances that more wild colonies will be established at Louma.
